Constables are officers of the Tennessee Judicial System who are sworn and bonded peace officers with full powers of arrest.

Constables are charged with keeping the peace and with the enforcement of the laws of the state, county and its cities. While their powers as peace officers are valid statewide, their activities are generally conducted in the county in which they were elected.

The purpose of this site is to seek out constables who are interested in cooperating with local, state and federal law enforcement in order to provide the citizens of Tennessee affordable law enforcement and to provide a training and communication network between constables and other members of law enforcement.

Constables are asked to join and contribute infomation to the site. Please upload a photo of yourself and complete a biography.  Remember, you are elected - Use your blog space to promote your elected position and tell the world about your county and your working relationship with other members of law enforcement.

The members of both the Tennessee Constable Council and the Tennessee Constable Association are welcome and encouraged to network with each other here.
